Our Story

Hoss Boer Goats began as a small commercial herd made up of one buckling and four does. Through the years we have grown from a commercial breeding herd of 5 to a breeding herd of 11 does, 10 doelings and two bucks ranging from commercial to fullblood. We were founded in Carr, Colorado and moved across the border to Cheyenne, Wyoming in 2023. We primarily breed replacement stock highlighting color, confirmation, resilience and maternal instincts. We are moving away from commercial stock and leaning into ABGA registered animals. We hope to take our animals into the show ring in the upcoming years and are pursuing genetics that demonstrate the South African breed standards.
